The Big Book of Green Design is currently in production. It will be available in stores and on Amazon on November 17, 2009.

We’ve had a blast selecting the final cover (above). Below are the alternate designs that we flirted with using. All were created by Anderson Design Group in Nashville, TN.

Market Smart: The Best of Age and Lifestyle-Specific Design

Market Smart will be available in stores  on May 12, 2009.  This book focuses on designing for specific demographic and psychographic groups, such as foodies, parents, baby boomers, etc.

The publisher, HarperCollins, selected the final cover (above) very quickly. We only supplied one other option, which is below.

Both cover designs were designed by Hans Anderson at HV Anderson Design in Louisville, KY.

The Big Book of Self-Promotion

I thought it might be fun to show the covers that never made it to the printer.

The challenge was to create one image that communicated the book’s overall concept. (The book features 384 pages of self-promotional pieces, mainly created by design firms to promote themselves.)

All covers were designed by my friends at Anderson Design Group in Nashville, TN.

Below are some cover designs that, for whatever reason, didn’t make the final cut.
